What to wear:
- Dress the whole family like your dressing one person: Not the exact same thing, but everyone should match. Also, textures are great... if you can find clothing of the same shade in different textures, that really pops too.
- You can also Google ( What to wear in family pictures ).
Where do we take our pictures? ( I'm an on location photographer only )
- You should pick somewhere that has meaning or you love the surroundings. Some of my favorite have been at peoples homes.
- I have a few favorite spots if you can't find somewhere that I can suggest. ( see locations below )
- Newborns and Infants I will do at your home or another specified location.
Editing time:
- Normal editing time is 2-3 weeks.
- I will have a preview of your shoot available on Facebook or this Blog with in 3-4 days.
Images:
- After editing all images on your disc are yours to do with what you please.
Suggested printing locations:
-I have an account with Pro Digital Photos in Pleasant Grove: This gives you the highest quality photos and products. I'll be happy to order for you from there. ( This is my highest recommendation )
- Costco Photo Lab ( for the price they do a great job )
For Fine Quality:
- Snelson Photocolor Lab ( Springville, Ut )
- Allens Camera ( American Fork, Ut )
Suggested Locations:
FREE:
-Harley Davidson. (Lindon) This place is very urban. Galvanized steel building and old gas pumps.
-Hardway Ranch. (Lehi) This is a rustic location it has a few different outbuildings and fields, It also has a street thats not to busy for street shots.
-Osmond Designs. (Lehi) This is a downtown look. It has few different buildings for back grounds (Brick, Steel, Wood and a plain black wall). This location also has the railroad track and train cars.
-Canyon (West or American Fork). The canyon is always a good choice in the summer or fall. When we have a lot of snow it's great to for those great snowy pictures.
-Amphitheater (AF) This place is a little tricky it's free if no one is using it, so it's a little bit of a gamble. Great location for large groups.
-Uncles Place. (Lehi) This is a great location from a photographers view point, it has an old Dodge truck, a old school bus, rustic fences and open fields. However, it is a homemade junk yard... if your OK with that sort a thing this may be the location for you.
-Old Iron Bridge. (Lehi) I love this bridge. It will give you and Urban feeling in your pictures.
-Mitchells Orchard. (Lehi) This Orchard is so cute. This would be fun with children and babies.
-The Shops at the Riverwoods. (Provo) This is my favorite. It has so much to offer. Many different back drops... Half dozen different buildings, Streets, Bridges, Little river, and plain grassy areas. This location is great for any size group and all ages. An uptown feeling.
-Fallow Field Farm. (Lindon) This location has an old truck a red shop, and lots more.
-The hidden park behind Lone Peak high school. (AF) This park has a lake balconys over the water and grassy areas.
-Boat Harbor: (AF) This is fun with the docks and it has a little sand.
-Suncrest. (Draper) This place is great, however it's a little bit of a drive. It's at the top of the point of the mountain. It has a man made river and bridges that are beautiful and gazebo's. I have used this location several times for Bridal pictures and Family pictures. This fits everyone style to some point. Worth the drive in my opinion.
Locations for a Fee:
-Starmill Antiques. (AF) This place is awesome. They have so much to offer. $30 to use their place or (this is the best part) for $40 you can use their stuff too!
-Wadley Farms. (Lindon) This place is AWESOME but they charge $30 an hour. Smaller groups we can probably have done in 1 hr larger groups would be 2 hrs. It has a very enchanted look and feel. It really is amazing.
-ThanksGiving Point. (Lehi) Everyone knows this place. They Charge $100 for the main garden area and $75 for the gardens behind the Water Tower. $150 for both. *No Pets*
